What were we?

As a human, there must be something we've did, maybe 1 time or maybe tons of time. However, when someone asks us, "why we did it?". What do we say? If we actually know the reason by ourselves, we'd tell or explain but, what do we say when we don't know? Do we say, we don't know, do we make an excuse and lie? Honestly, there are so many things that we do but we ourselves have no idea, like why we did that, when and for whom? The main point is that we don't know what and when was the start of it? 

But, have you ever gave yourself sometime to think everything? And if you did, did you got the answers to everything you've been searching for. Maybe yes or maybe no? If you did, then that's amazing because not everyone can get the answers, they've been searching for and if you didn't then, it's alright atleast you tried. It's always not necessary that you'll get what you want or need, but still try again. It'll talk some time and I know, it'll be hard but you're no less. But still, 

    Tell me one thing, why did you do "that"? ("That" could be anything, like whatever you did) 

Either Because, You were Crazy? 

                       Or

                 You were in Love? 

Actually, sometimes we're both, crazy and in love too but for a fact sometimes when we're crazy and in love...we make some mistakes, no matter how big or how small or we do something intentionally, its not always necessary that what we were or are doing is right. There are sometimes when we do something and we're wrong. We don't think so but actually We are Wrong.
